Juniper Root is a close-knit community, a Montessori preschool for 3-6 year olds, and a self-directed learning space for 7-12 year olds. We value nature, autonomy, communication, and collaboration.

The new addition to our crew will have:

  • A deep love and respect for children

  • Montessori Primary Certification (3-6 year olds, AMS or AMI)

  • 2 years experience in Montessori environments working directly with children

  • A passion for learning and the ability to share that passion with others

  • A love of being outdoors in all types of weather

  • An enthusiasm for personal and communal growth

  • Critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and non-violent communication skills

The children at Juniper Root have cited the following

  • kind, caring, calm, and strong

  • able to help someone if they are upset

  • loves dogs and nature

Details:

This position starts full time in August 2026.

Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:00pm

Optional Overtime: Assist in coordinating 4-6 weekend events per year

Compensation: Starting at $18-$22/hour
